PROBLEM:  An international manufacturer of scooters and motorcycles wanted to completely reposition its North American subsidiary against several larger and more entrenched competitors. Initially, it had positioned itself as a low-cost option against the more established brands. This failed because it didn’t promote the company’s quality products and attracted only second tier dealers and price-sensitive consumers.

SOLUTION:  Working with the company’s new marketing team, Brand Advantage Group produced a portfolio of new marketing materials available through BA360 that appealed to leading, established dealers and value conscious consumers looking for better quality. The initial rollout included POP, signage, and other high quality marketing materials.

BENEFIT:  Brand Advantage Group role in the makeover worked so well that the company is now signing up first tier, multi-line dealers who hold franchises of major competitors, and the company’s corporate executives in Asia are considering adding the system in other countries. The system provides flexibility, quick turn-around and value-based pricing for their dealer network.
